Here are goals we have accomplished throughout this year!
1. Reaching over 210 likes on facebook!
As of April 17, 2014, we now have over 210 Facebook likes! Whoaaa! Lets keep up the good work!
2. Reaching over 1,500 website views!
After having our website up for just two short months, we have had over 1,500 website views! We are hoping that this number increases as time goes on, and we join more and more social media! Great job West Deptford!
3. We're teaching kids!
On January 22, we taught a group of 4th graders at Green-Fields Elementary School about Freshwater Mussels and the importance they serve in our environment.
4. We know what the community wants!
We have had over ... responses on our Wheelabrator Community Awareness survey! By our results, we have a lot of work to do, and we are hoping on taking another survey at the end of the year to compare our results. West Deptford needs to turn more green, but don't worry... We have everything under control! :)
5. we're taking action!
We're are planning to create our own living shoreline on our local river. This living shoreline will provide protection for freshwater mussels, and preserve them so they can filter our dirty river. We're also planning to add dog poop bags in Riverwinds so their poop doesn't pollute the water.
7. Our local community
